Storage and Reheating

At The Chaplain we don’t like food waste. The best way to avoid food waste is to order as many as you need. However, at The Chaplain we appreciate this is not always possible. This is why we provide information on how to store and reheat any leftover vegetable spring rolls.


If you have any the wrap leftover then allow to cool. This is ideally done uncovered to prevent the wrap from going soggy. Once the wrap have cooled store in a refrigerator.

Reheating in an Oven (Recommended)

At The Chaplain we not recommend reheating the vegetable spring rolls in the oven.

Reheating in a Microwave

Ovens do take a bit longer to cook, but a matter of minutes. You get better quality food by sacrificing an extra 5-10 minutes of waiting—and you can do work, or whatever else, while you wait. If you say you’re stuck with a microwave you are probably stuck with a microwave.

Lightly sprinkle the vegetable spring rolls with water and microwave for 1 minute. A top tip from The Chaplain is to wrap the wrap  in parchment paper to prevent the food. Ultimately, you’re not going to get super crispy food with this trick, like you might with a standard oven, but it offers a marked improvement. Ensure the the wrap is hot throughout.

Reheating in a Grill

Lightly sprinkle the wrap with water, heat for 4 minutes, turning after 2 minutes
